Puppy Love

My puppy is here now:)
Isn't she just total cuteness, sittin' there munchin on  a leaf?

She's amazingly intelligent too, which is most awesome because training her isn't the huge chore I thought it was going to be.
I was all prepared for the trials and tribulations of house breaking a puppy...and she hasn't had but 2 accidents in the last week since she came to live with us.
She's doing great with the sit command too, plops her butt down immediately almost every time.
She doesn't run off or wander away when we're playing in the yard. She stays RIGHT THERE next to me at all times...unless we're playing fetch, and she comes right back with the tennis ball every time.
She doesn't like walking with a leash too much right now...she bites it and tries to carry it in her mouth or chew it off. ha.
She doesn't really need to use one right now because I'm not taking her out of the yard until she has all of her vaccinations, but she's going to have to wear one eventually when we start going for walks so she might as well get used to it now :)
I have tons of stuff to do today, so that's all I can post for now.
